Ohhh I love both of these. And then ofc unlike Nikolay I think Vasiliy might be touchy about it at first because even though he doesn't mean it offensively his kneejerk reaction to commentary about his nationality/ethnicity after living in the US for a year is very "no shit I have an accent and don't speak English on a native proficiency level, thank you for noticing" but in the long run? I think he'll be glad to talk to people with some knowledge of his culture outside of "If Communism Wins" propaganda posters.
